What to Expect at LendIt Fintech LatAm

LendIt Fintech LatAm will be a hybrid event, happening at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami as well as online on December 7-8. The Latin American fintech market has become even hotter this year with record funding rounds for many, if not most, of the leading players. We look forward to bringing the fintech community together to keep the excitement going as well as to learn from each other and drive the industry forward.

The Hybrid Event Explained

We encourage everyone who is interested in Latin American fintech to join us in person in Miami. But we understand that some people are just unable to travel, so we also have a virtual ticket option. Here are some details as to how this will work.

Networking is a key component of every LendIt event and we have been working hard to make this a great experience for attendees whether attending in person or virtually. For in-person attendees, we will have a networking area on our expo floor with meetings organized via Brella. Virtual attendees will be able to meet each other online just as we have done for our virtual events, again via Brella. And in-person attendees will be able to network with those attending virtually via special tables set up for that purpose.

The popular Women in Fintech Power Hour will be happening again on December 7 from 1pm-2pm. This is a networking event of short spontaneous meetings dedicated to women in Latin American fintech This will only be available to in-person attendees.

After hours is when attendees make the best connections as we unwind in a more relaxed setting. We will have social gatherings happening each evening of the event that will take advantage of the beautiful February weather in Miami.

Expo Floor

The expo floor will be buzzing this year as we are working towards a record number of sponsors and exhibitors who will be there in-person. Attendees will also be able to watch our virtual content in our on-floor theater. And we will have our LendIt Fintech News recording booth where will be conducting executive interviews and startup spotlights.

We are still putting the agenda together but have already confirmed several industry leaders for our keynote stage. Here are some of the big names you can expect to see:

  • Pierpaolo Barbieri – CEO of Ualá
  • David Poritz – Co-CEO of Credijusto
  • Sergio Furio – CEO of Creditas
  • Hernan Kazah – Managing Partner of Kaszek Ventures

The content will also include four deep dive tracks in the afternoons:

  • Digital Banking Drives Fintech Forward
  • Cutting Edge in Fintech
  • New Models for Lending and Financial Inclusion
  • The Payments Revolution

For our virtual ticket holders all content will be available on-demand within 24-48 hours of the event.

Health and Safety Focused

The health and safety of our community is always our number one priority. We will be taking every possible precaution to keep all attendees safe during the event. Also, LendIt Fintech will require proof of vaccination for all event participants. For more details please read our Responsible Together page.
