What fintech will look like in 2030

Sometimes a simple Twitter callout can ignite a brainstorm worthy of re-sharing.

Back in June, Plaid CEO Zachary Perret asked simply, “What do you think financial services will be like in 2030?”

One theme among the replies was the idea that a smart actor will create a one-stop shop consolidated website of defi and other fintech options.

Colin Overweg said he was surprised that no one has thought to build a financial hub website.

Speaking of simplicity, Anurag Baveja said automated diligence will allow an almost-instant transaction state.

Josh Ryan brought a glass-half-full vision to the question by suggesting a future of borderless cashflows.
