LendItChina2015

LendIt hosts three conferences a year: LendIt USA, LendIt Europe and LendIt China. After wrapping up our biggest conference ever in New York, that welcomed 162 delegates from China, we immediately shifted focus to our return to China for 2015.

The Chinese market for p2p lending is much larger than that of the United States with total transaction volume estimated to have been $22 billion in 2014, up from $11 billion in 2013. In fact China is by far the largest and most competitive market in the world. There is a lot that US-based companies can learn from the Chinese market and LendIt is the bridge that connects these two markets.

Last year, LendIt Shanghai co-hosted the Bund Summit, which attracted over 500 attendees. This year, we are very excited to announce the LendIt China Tour, a seven-day tour through Beijing and Shanghai from July 7-14. Participants will meet with top Chinese firms, investors, and regulators to gain a deeper understanding of China’s online lending ecosystem. As part of the tour, we will be co-hosting the 2nd annual Bund Summit in Shanghai and the 10,000 person China App Show in Beijing.

The Bund Summit will remain an exclusive 500 person conference that focuses on P2P lending and brings together the top Chinese representatives from government and business.  We will have keynotes from the China Investment Corp, China’s largest sovereign wealth fund, and Alibaba’s ZhaoCaiBao, their p2p division within Ant Financial.  In addition, all of the top regulatory bodies will be presenting.

The China App Show will be a huge exhibition which will include hundreds of mobile Internet companies. We will feature keynotes from Baidu Finance and CreditEase, among others.

As part of the LendIt China tour, you will:

  • Connect with leading Chinese internet finance companies
  • Meet with Chinese wealth managers and institutional investors
  • Build relationships with key government officials
  • Learn how to establish your business in China
  • Form local partnerships

Save the Date for LendIt Europe 2015!

LendIt will also return to Europe from October 20-21, 2015 at the Hilton London Metropole. This is the largest annual gathering for our industry in Europe, with almost 500 attendees last year. We expect we will grow by at least 50% for LendIt Europe 2015.
