I had the idea for a course like this back in April. People kept asking me the same thing in the emails I received. Can you explain the risks? How can I avoid defaults? How do I increase my returns?
I realized there was no place for new or existing p2p investors to go to learn everything they need to know to be successful. Sure there is a wealth of information on this blog but it is not exactly organized in a systematic way. Plus, I think video is the best way to teach people how to navigate around different websites.
So I created the P2P Lending Wealth System. It has taken me a couple of months to create but it is now ready for prime time.
Three and a Half Hours of Video Content
In this online video course I take investors through every aspect of p2p lending. There is around three and a half hours of video content divided into eight modules:
- Introduction
- The Risks of P2P Lending
- Before you Start Investing
- Investing with Lending Club
- Investing with Prosper
- Maximizing Your ROI
- The Trading Platform
- How I am Investing Today
Introductory Video
I have created a short nine minute video that introduces the P2P Lending Wealth System. The cost of the course is just $97 and for that you don’t just get the video course but also a host of great bonuses, including many goodies I have never shared before.
So go check out the video and let me know what you think.
Oh come on Peter. This should be free with a request donations. Just like Ken does with Lendstats. This is very un-p2p of you.
@312-lender, I make no apology for the fact I am charging for this course. I think there is great value here for the p2p investor. I am trying to create a real business covering p2p lending full time and I cannot continue to do that unless I charge for some of my expertise.
In the first 12 hours of the course being open I have many people who agree there is good value here. Like anything else the market will determine whether this is a good idea or not.
Peter, you forgot the “But wait there’s more…” part. ๐
Lou
Fair enough, Peter. Good luck to you.
I may have missed it on the site, but what is your Prosper ID?
Peter…….I completely understand where you are coming from. In the past year I have found that I have spent quite a few hours here writing posts. Some of those posts were arguably even meaningful & I just can’t see how I can continue to do that unless I can charge for some of my expertise. I’m confident that you of all people know what I bring to the table, to say nothing of what else I may have tucked away. So I’m afraid that unless we can find a way to monetize my contributions here………….
@Lou, Touche.
@312-lender, Thanks. My Prosper screen name is SLN-10.
@Dan, I was wondering what your take would be on all this. I will be happy to make you a staff writer if and when I decide to go that route….
Looks nice – and you absolutely ought to be charging for your expertise…
You don’t go to Nepal and expect the Sherpa to guide your ass for free… ๐
Peter………….Where are the exotic cars? Where are the yachts? Where are the girls in bikinis? Hey don’t mind me. I’m just a bit annoyed that you didn’t avail yourself of my 15 years experience in video production. I’m sure I could have created a more enticing 9 minute teaser video for you……………for an appropriate fee of course. ๐
@Peer Lend, Thanks. I appreciate your feedback.
@Dan, If I ever decide to do a video shoot with exotic cars, private jets, yachts, bikini clad women, etc…. I will be sure to give you a call.
Sure – but I will add that the Sherpa have an easier sell, as their mountain is much more visible in one sense! Translated, that means something like:
You might want to show a little bit more leg – snippets from the course itself – rather than the read-along-with-the-closed-captioning video bit.
Without that, anyone who’s had the patience to amass enough capital to invest in p2p lending will have a tendency toward impatience for such…
Just a (free) thought… ๐
@Peer Lend, I thought about doing that but decided on the sneak peek previews and then just going with the video slide show. Of course, I may do better putting in more snippets into the ad – this is probably something I will test at some stage.
