According to Sifted, European fintechs raised a record $8.5 billion in capital last year; most of this capital comes in the form of large rounds from established VC firms; what Sifted did was ignore the amount of capital and analyzed those VCs funding the most number of fintech deals, regardless of size, between 2015 and 2019; NFT Ventures leads the field with 49 investments, SpeedInvest is second with 47 and Seedcamp third with 46; rounding out the top five is Kima Ventures with 42 and Anthemis Group with 41; Sifted also provides a short profile all fourteen VCs on the list.
