Splitit Refreshes Brand, Focuses on Installment Payment Product

Payments platform Splitit has a new brand identity as they seek to compete with other high flying fintech firms; their core product is unique in that it uses a consumer’s existing credit card to split payments over time with no interest; this happens at the checkout in real time and there are no applications or fees; they are signing up new merchants rapidly with a 20% quarter over quarter; the new branding is expected to help them grow; CEO Brad Patterson said, “As we continued to grow and launch in new markets, we identified a number of opportunities for the company to move to the next level. It was time to refine our brand positioning and create a new visual identity to better showcase our merchant partners and reflect the shoppers who use our product.” TearSheet
