Revolut has become one of the hottest European fintechs and is now launching in the U.S. where anyone can sign up for a Revolut debit card; the company is partnering with Metropolitan Commercial Bank where deposits will be insured up to $250,000; Revolut has more than 10 million customers around the globe and just recently raised $500mn in funding; while the company offers a range of services in Europe they are starting with the basics for their U.S. launch with plans to expand later; As the cost of living increases disproportionately to people’s take home salaries, now more than ever, people need to know exactly what is coming in and out of their account.
