Raisin Adds $113mn with Backing of Orange Digital Ventures

Fintech Raisin has raised an additional $113mn in a series D round from Orange Digital Ventures and existing investors including Index Ventures, PayPal, Ribbit Capital and Thrive Capital; the new capital will help the company to launch in two new markets and expand their line of investment products; Dr. Tamaz Georgadze, Co-Founder and CEO of Raisin, tells Crowdfund Insider, “It’s particularly exciting for us because Orange has a proven track record, as both a successful international mobile operator and an accomplished financial technology provider. In addition to the investment, we do see potential synergies and concrete partnership opportunities with Orange Bank.” Source.
