At LendIt we have always tried to do our part in promoting fintech startups. We started hosting our PitchIt @ LendIt event first in New York in 2015 and we now have had 3 competitions in total: LendIt USA 2015, 2016 and at Lang Di Fintech this past July in Shanghai. Now for the first time we are bringing our startup competition to our Europe event this October.

We have partnered with Capital One to co-host the event and are accepting applications until September 12. In order to qualify startups must have raised less than £4 million, have at least 2 full-time founders, have a working prototype with customer interaction and have been founded in 2014-2016. The 8 finalists will receive 2 free passes to LendIt Europe 2016 and receive up to $1,000 for travel to PitchIt. All finalists will receive mentorship from industry veterans leading up to the final pitch in front of the judges at LendIt Europe.

The winner will receive a Bronze sponsorship package at next year’s LendIt event and a personalized mentorship plan from Capital One Growth Labs, a partnership between Capital One and L Marks. LendIt also offers startups 50% off tickets to LendIt Europe.

If you’re interested in participating or learning more about PitchIt @ LendIt you can apply directly on the LendIt website.
