Mozper Launches Digital Banking Service for Latin American Families

Launching from Y Combinator’s latest cohort, Mozper is a digital banking service for Latin American consumers that mirrors the offerings of Greenlight and GoHenry; Latin America has a massive disparity in financial education with only 30% of Latin Americans receiving any education in this area, so a product like Mozper is needed there; they intend to charge users a fee for access to a debit card and an app that both parents and children can access; the company has already raised $1.5 million in seed funding and have launched in their initial market, Mexico, in late July and it is working on getting its fintech license from the Mexican government.
