MarketInvoice Raises $72mn in Fresh Capital

UK based invoice financing fintech MarketInvoice has raised a fresh $72mn in capital, $33mn in equity and a $39mn debt facility; the equity was raised from Barclays, Santander, Northzone and Viola Credit; the debt facility was from the lending fund of Israeli private equity firm Viola Group; “We’re using this money to scale the business here in the U.K., which means delivering on the strategic partnership that we have with Barclays and investing more in tech and data,” Anil Stocker, co-founder and chief executive of MarketInvoice, told CNBC in a phone interview.
