LendIt USA 2017 is returning to New York City in March, and it is going to be our largest event yet with over 5,000 attendees expected. LendIt is delving deeper into lending, with new tracks dedicated to Student Lending, Digital Mortgages, Structured Products, ABS Financing for Equipment & Autos and, we will also cover our traditional areas of Consumer Lending, Small Business Lending, and Commercial and Residential Real Estate Investing. But we are not stopping there; we are also expanding beyond lending to other areas of fintech including Digital Wealth Management, Blockchain, Insurtech, Digital Banking, and Financial Inclusion. Also, because investors play such an important role in LendIt we will bring back tracks dedicated to Investor Insights and Fund Manager Presentations that are designed for the asset allocator community.

Our Fifth USA Event

As many of you know, this will be our fifth annual event in the USA and it has been a crazy ride. We started way back in 2013 when we held our first event in NYC that burst at the seams with over 375 attendees in a small meeting room outside of Times Square. We have grown with our industry getting larger, more global, and more sophisticated over the years. We have traveled all over the world hosting events in NYC, San Francisco, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, Paris, and Frankfurt. We are returning to our home base in NYC in 2017 for our fifth USA event.

Our Goal Is to Be the Biggest and Best Fintech Conference in the World

LendIt has rapidly grown over the past 4 years and we are now one of only a few large events companies in the financial services sector. What makes LendIt unique is that we come from our industry, we build fintech businesses, and we are focused on helping our industry. We are industry insiders and we believe that our strength is in our content and community, which provides us with a long term strategic advantage. We have also listened to your feedback and we are developing the experience around the show, which is incredibly important for networking and also to just have some fun.

Our goal is to be the biggest and best fintech conference in the world. We think that we are ideally positioned to take that mantle over the next few years. In the spring join us in NYC, in the summer take the trip with us to China, and in the fall come with us to London. If you care about innovation in financial services then add LendIt to your short list of must attend annual events.

What is New At LendIt USA 2017

LendIt is jam packed with content and we have been known to go a bit overboard. There are just so many interesting companies and themes to cover, we feel like a kid in a candy shop when we build our agenda. The problem is that it gets crazy and people start feeling overwhelmed, so we will change a few things to improve this experience for LendIt USA 2017:

  1. We will “only” have eight tracks of content this year, down from 16 last year. You can’t imagine how difficult it is for us to curate the best eight.
  2. We are hosting longer tracks to go deeper on the most important topics.
  3. We are leaving large chunks of time open and we are introducing new 1×1 meeting software to turbocharge networking.
  4. We have significantly expanded our expo floor as more companies join the show.
  5. We will video every track and make them all available for post conference viewing. We will also provide simultaneous translation in Chinese in 6 of the 8 tracks.
