Update on LendIt Europe in London

LendIt-banner-600-email

We are now just over a month away from the LendIt Europe conference in London on November 17 and I want to give everyone an update. This is our first European event that builds on the success of the first two LendIt conferences in New York and San Francisco.

Registrations are continuing to come in strong. We have almost 200 people signed up and we expect to reach our goal of 400 attendees. The early bird price ended over a month ago but we still have discounted pricing of £495 available until the end of October. And don’t forget Lend Academy readers get an additional 15% discount by entering the code LENDACADEMYVIP at checkout. You can register here.

Speakers and Agenda

We are in the process of finalizing our agenda and speakers. We have sent out many speaker invitations and hope to get everything finalized shortly. The CEOs of the big three UK platforms, Funding Circle, Ratesetter and Zopa will all be presenting keynotes and we have leaders of most major platforms from across Europe speaking as well. Like previous LendIt conferences we will be having a primary track featuring keynote presentations and panels as well as a second track with company presentations.

Attendees are Coming from All Across the Globe

While obviously most people attending LendIt Europe are coming from the UK and Europe I have been surprised by how many people are registering from other parts of the world. There is certainly a lot of interest from US investors. We have created this cool visualization below that shows a breakdown of attendees.

Watch the Live Broadcast for Free

For the convenience of our global audience we will be broadcasting LendIt Europe live online. I realize that most Lend Academy readers will not be traveling to London for LendIt Europe but you will still be able to see all the main sessions live. The broadcast will begin at 9am London time on November 17 on www.lendit.tv.

I hope to see some of you in London in November.
