JPMorgan Chase Overhauls Digital Strategy Team After Leaders Leave

JPMorgan Chase finds itself overhauling their digital strategy team as they leaders in the unit have moved on to other roles or left the bank entirely; the group lost the chief executive officer, the head of digital technology and the chief of digital customer experience; the bank is confident their deep bench can make up for the losses; “Our deep bench of talent is a competitive advantage — these internal moves represent that,” Pablo Rodriguez, a spokesman for the New York-based company, said a statement to American Banker; they have one of the largest technology budgets on Wall Street but have also had some high profile mishaps like the experiment with the digital only brand Finn; Chase has also severed ties with online small business lender OnDeck and shut down Chase Pay which was seen as a competitor to Apple Pay when it launched.
