How Lloyd’s Banking Group Used KPIs to Turn the Corner

António Horta Osório took over as the head of Lloyd’s Banking Group 8 years a Gao and has since been driving the strategy that has helped turn the bank around; he told the team they would focus on 13 key performance indicators or KPIs; unless you could point to one of the KPIs being improved you would not get approved for investment in your idea; getting the KPIs right in the first place helped set the bank up for success; the right capability, technology and processes help set up a ripple effect across the different departments in the bank.
