Fundbox Hires CFO Looking Towards Eventual IPO

Fundbox has hired Marten Abrahamsen, a former investment banker to fill the CFO role at the fintech company; Fundbox provides working capital to small businesses using transaction data, thus improving cash flow for the business; the company was founded in 2013 and has raised $300 million in equity to date; Abrahamsen will focus on reducing costs and improving margins according to a WSJ interview; he also stated, “We are in a very healthy financial position, and there is no rush for us to go public.” Wall Street Journal
