Digits Launches with $22mn Series B Round

Small business expense monitoring startup Digits is launching after two years in stealth mode; the company has raised a $22mn series B round led by GV; Digits for Expenses is a dashboard that helps businesses by tracking expenses by category and offering real-time alerts; the company integrates with companies like Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Citi, Bank of America and Chase so you don’t have to switch from existing solutions; Founder Jeff Seibert explains the value of their solution to TechCrunch, “their accounting itself is seen as a cost-center, and they pay for little beyond the basic monthly financial statements — Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, etc. By the time those statements are delivered — weeks after the end of each month — they’re already out of date.”; the company intends to use the new capital to hire more people and build out their customer base.
