Digital Banking Users Could Pass 3.6 Billion by 2024

According to a new report by Juniper Research the number of digital banking users could surpass 3.6 billion by 2024; the jump would be an increase of 54 percent from 2020 which counts 2.4 billion users; the increase is attributed to the success of challenger banks and the continued push for digitization from traditional banks; the report recommends big banks double down on their investment in personal financial management to keep market share from going to up and comers; Nick Maynard, Researcher at Juniper, noted to Crowdfund Insider: “These banks have executed highly effective digital transitions; however digital transformation is never complete. These banks must now refocus on the new strategies required to retain their digital leadership.” Crowdfund Insider
