Digit Launches Instant Withdrawals with JPMorgan Chase

Fintech savings app Digit launched an instant withdrawals feature with the help of JPMorgan Chase to allow users to move money to their bank account; the launch is in part a response to pressure about overdraft fees from Congress and advocacy groups; instant withdrawals will also help to test real time payments from JPMorgan Chase based on The Clearing House’s RTP service; the new service helps to solve the issues around ACH taking a few days to clear and putting consumers in a bind; Digit has been working to help consumers save money, in particular those who live paycheck to paycheck and this is the next step in their evolution.
