British MP Says Fintech Will Have Bigger Impact Than Brexit

Speaking at an event in London, British MP Lee Rowley has said that the fintech industry, rather than Brexit, will have a greater long term effect on people’s lives; Rowley is the head of a bipartisan parliamentary group on alternative lending and spent a decade in financial services; he also said that understanding of fintech within parliament is woefully low and that the industry needed to engage with the government while things are going well and not wait for a crisis.
