Are Millennials Attracted to Digital Banks?

There are some extremely attractive offers these days from a multitude of digital banks; it has been 10 years since some of these options have become available but only 3% of millennials have their primary checking account at some of the digital leaders like Simple, Chime and Moven; this number is even smaller for Gen Xers (1.5%) and baby boomers (.8%); in fact, four of 10 millennials have their primary checking with either Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo; Ron Shevlin in a Forbes post shares his perspective on how the touted disruption of traditional banking simply hasn’t taken place in the US.
