Acxiom Attempts to predict post-COVID consumer finance trends

“The COVID-19 pandemic has been defined by speed,” claims Acxiom Market Pulse, which attempts to reflect and analyze the changes sparked by Covid in its new report, Life Beyond Lockdown.  The report is based on a survey of 10,000 people in the US and 5,000 people in the UK, and attempts to assess Covid’s impact across four dimensions including economic, physical, habitual and health. One surprising finding, if only in terms of magnitude, is that 51% of those looking to buy a car said they are now more likely to buy electric as a result of seeing the benefits of reduced air pollution. Acxiom
